Case Manager — Second Chance Youth Program & Tattoo Removal Clinic
Tajin was born in San Francisco, CA and raised in both San Francisco and Daly City to a Salvadoran Mother and a Mexican father. He graduated from City College of San Francisco with an AA in psychology and San Francisco State University in 2019 with a B.A in Latino Studies. Tajin has been involved in youth development work since 2014, having experience in various settings such as after school programs, underserved youth counseling, behavioral interventions with youth on the autism spectrum, and more recently as a mental health counselor for youth in foster care. He has also been involved in youth arts programs himself, being a participant of Hijos del Fuego cohort and attending classes at the Mission Cultural Center since he was seven years old. His passions are playing live music, audio engineering, and music production. Tajin hopes to bring an arts based perspective to exploring themes of mental health in the Second Chance Youth Program at CARECEN SF.
