Senior Case Manager
Silvia worked as an immigration paralegal at several law firms before joining CARECEN SF’s Family Wellness Program. She has a passion for social justice, education, and self-sufficiency. Silvia is committed to the community through advocacy, education, and linking immigrant families with needed resources available. Silvia holds a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS), a Community Mental Health Worker certification from City College of San Francisco and a School Teacher degree from Argentina. She is presently pursuing a Permaculture Design Certificate at Merritt College and a Master’s Degree in Integrative Health Studies at CIIS to continue fighting for food justice and promoting wellness and health education. When Silvia is not at work, she loves dancing, biking, hiking, and gardening.
