Senior Case Manager — Second Chance Youth Program & Tattoo Removal Clinic

Born in Cuyotenango, Guatemala to a proud Mayan family, Eli came to San Francisco at the age of 2. She was raised in the mission but received her education in the Bayview Hunters  Point where she found her love for history and books. As a systems involved youth, Eli found guidance and nurture through community organizations, primarily working closely with PODER SF. She continues to volunteer, support and advocate through her work with youth and their families of San Francisco. Eli and her two children are proud members of grupo Xiuhcoatl Danza Azteca de San Francisco. Eli wishes to continue her advocacy work with CARECEN SF and hopes to one day become a foster parent.
