Case Manager

Alexia was born and raised in San Francisco and is daughter to Nicaraguense migrant parents. Alexia is a first generation college graduate from San Francisco State University. In 2021 she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with a double minor in Public Health and Criminal Justice Studies, which she is now pursuing as a career path. She has dedicated her work to working with underrepresented youth in different settings such as being a Peer Educator, Academic Tutor, and most recently a High School Advisor. She has also been involved in community youth programs herself, Huckleberry Wellness Academy and The Boys and Girls Club. Her involvement with Clinica Martin Baro in San Francisco’s Mission District helped Alexia become more compassionate, driven to advocate and help her community which are all values she hopes to instill in her work. Much of her passion for working with and helping underserved youth stems from her experience of having great mentors, advisors, and case managers who helped her navigate the world as a first generation youth. She hopes to make a difference and a significant impact on young people’s lives. Her passions include dancing, laughing and spending time with loved ones, netflix and tiktok.
