Senior Paralegal

Ricardo is a co-founder of CARECEN SF. He regularly appears in local Spanish-language media to speak on behalf of CARECEN SF regarding immigration law. Ricardo holds an M.A. in journalism and political science from the Universidad de El Salvador (UES), served as a professor and Dean of the school of journalism, and General Secretary/Chancellor of the UES. Ricardo has taught at the University of California at Berkeley and San Francisco State University. He was also professor of the Jose Simeon Cañas Central American University, also known as Catholic University. He is an Honorary Doctor in Humane Letters of the University Star King for the Ministers School of Berkeley, California. Ricardo lives in San Francisco with his wife of 30 years.
