Case Manager — Second Chance Youth Program & Tattoo Removal Clinic
Daughter of Mexican immigrants, Nicole Manriquez was raised in Hayward, California. Proud of her roots, she was involved in Ballet Folklorico at an early age and continued on to become a dance teacher. Through this experience, she discovered she had passion for working with young people. A recent graduate from Sonoma State University with a BA in Criminology and Criminal Justice, Nicole is the first in her family to graduate from college. She pursued her degree due to the struggles she witnessed first-hand growing up among the Latinx community. Still not done with her academic endeavors, Nicole hopes to attend law school in the coming years. Her work with young people has lead Nicole to believe that patience and compassion are essential tools to bring about change. Having worked with incarcerated youth, Nicole is excited to embark in her new role with CARECEN SF and is looking forward to a journey of making a positive impact on the lives of the young people she will be working with.
