Staff Attorney
Briana received her law degree from City University of New York (CUNY) School of Law, and her B.A. from Wesleyan University. Briana was admitted to the California bar in December 2018, and previously worked at RootMigration, PC (formerly Law Office of Cecily Clements) and at JFCS East Bay. Before law school, Briana worked as a trauma counselor and case manager with people navigating the criminal court system in Brooklyn, New York. At CARECEN SF, Briana collaborates with clients on a variety of case types, including asylum, special immigrant juvenile status, family petitions, adjustment of status, consular processing, inadmissibility waivers, U-Visas, T-Visas, naturalization, and other immigration remedies. Briana is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the National Lawyers Guild (NLG). In her free time, Briana likes to spend time with friends and family, go on hikes, swim outside, and dance and sing in her living room. Briana is honored to work alongside San Francisco’s and the Bay Area’s immigrant communities.
