Silvia Ramos

Senior Case Manager — Family Wellness Program

Silvia worked as an immigration paralegal at several law firms before joining CARECEN SF’s Family Wellness Program. She has a passion for social justice, education, and self-sufficiency. Silvia is committed to the community through advocacy, education, and linking immigrant families with needed resources available.

Silvia holds a M.A. in Integrative Health Studies and a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies with Social Justice orientation from California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) with certifications in Wellness and Health Coaching, Patient Navigator and Guided Imagery. She also holds a Community Mental Health Worker certification from City College of San Francisco and a School Teacher degree from Argentina.

Silvia is committed to continue fighting for food justice and promoting wellness through health education. When Silvia is not at work, she loves dancing, biking, hiking, and as a Master Gardener, providing education about how to grow your own food at Community Gardens in Alameda County.
