Empowerment Civic Engagement

CARECEN partners with local and national organizations to support the continued acclimation and advancement of Latino and other immigrant communities. These organizations include the San Francisco Sanctuary Coalition, the San Francisco Immigrant Legal and Education Network, the Chicano, Latino and Indígena Health Equity and Social Justice Group, and the National Alliance of Latin American and Caribbean Communities. CARECEN also serves as the fiscal sponsor for the annual Festival de los Volcanes in celebration of Central Americans' contributions to San Francisco and the Bay Area.
