Help Salvadoran Victims of Natural Desaster
Dear CARECEN Supporter: I want to thank you for your past help. I write to you now because El Salvador is suffering a terrible natural disaster. Floods and mudslides caused by Hurricane Ida have left more than 124 people dead and 60 missing. El Salvador's president? Mauricio Funes, has declared a national emergency. CARECEN has a long history of helping out when Central America suffers a natural disaster. Thus, we are asking our supporters to provide relief in the wake of the destruction. Please help by sending a check made out to CARECEN, with "El Salvador Relief" in the memo line. We will make sure the funds go directly to aiding those hardest hit. Did you know that CARECEN and the San Francisco International Arts Festival are partnering on a play about transnational Central American street gangs, in collaboration with Paul Flores? All the more reason to support our two organizations, Thank you for helping.
